The dissonances of international law and world system: rule of law, democracy and human rights

In this paper the author analyzes some of the ideas developed by Roberto Gargarella in his most recent work. This ideas could have a certain parallelism with some theoretical formulations that have been postulated for decades within the international law doctrine in order to enunciate the submission of power to Law in the international field.
